Education: 1937 -1940 Technical University in Offenbach Graphic arts: Prof. Meier Painting: Prof. Plenk 1940 - 1942 Städel Academy of Fine Arts in Frankfurt (Painting) After the end of the war, Breuninger immersed himself in the painting and technique of Rubens. Through this personal study, coupled with his skill, he managed to make a name for himself as a portrait and nude painter in just a few years. His dreamy landscapes, to which he incorporates a touch of Impressionism, are particularly popular. Helmut Breuninger spent a long time in Antwerp, but also undertook extensive study trips to Italy, Yugoslavia and Hawaii. His paintings are in great demand in Germany, France, Irland Ireland, Canda and USA.
