Impressionistic painting with a boat in the sea with merging sky and sea horizon was executed around 1900 by a monogramm painter (probably by German-American landscape painter John M.August Will (1834-1910) 

Provenance: German private estate.

Inscription: signed with indistinctly monogram lower right.

Technique: oil on wood panel, antique gold-plated frame with white interior strip.

Measurements: unframed w 13" x h 4 3/4" (33 x 12 cm), framed w 17 1/3" x h 9 1/8" (44 x 23 cm).

Condition: in very good condition.
