River landscape with castles was executed c. in 1870s , signed illegible WEINMANN and attributed to Swiss landscape painter and graphic artist Rudolph WEINMANN (1810 Altstetten - 1878 castle Laufen).

Technique: oil on canvas, magnificent gold-plated frame.

Measurements: unframed w 25 3/4" x h 18 1/2" (65,5 x 47 cm); framed w 31 3/4" x h 24 1/4" (80,5 x 61,5 cm).

Condition: in very good condition, canvas profetion relined.
