View of Square of Bogdan Chmelnitzky in the Ukrainian capital Kiew was executed in 1950s by renown and good listed Ukrainian artist Yurij Wladimirovich Severin ( 1927 Charkov - after 1999 Kiew, Ukraine). He was landscape painter, illustrator and graphik artist , studied at the Art School in Charkov (till 1949 ),in 1949-52 - at the Art High institute in Kiew by Bondarenko, Dajtz. . Afterthen worked in Kiew .
