Early (ca. 1840s) forest landscape with figure of a wood collector - the painting was executed by listed Austrian landsacape painter leopold taubinger (born 1820 in Stockerau by Vienna), pupil of Fine Art Academy in Vienna.
Inscription: cut signature lower right .
Technique: oil on paper / canwas. Original biedermeier period gold-plated frame.
Measurements: unframed w 9 4/5" x h 12 " (25 x 30,5 cm), framed w 14 3/4" x h 17 " (37,5 x 43 cm).
Condition: in very good condition |
