Salon genre painting created  in 1890s by good listed austrian-german genre and landscape painter , sculptor and lithograph Robert Poetzelberger (1856 Vienna - 1930 Reichenau by Bodensee).He studied in Vienna Art Academy by Leopold Carl Mueller and later in Italy. From 1880 to 1892 he settled in Munich . From 1892 to 1899 ( our painting was created) he was Professor in the Art Academy in Karlsruhe and from 1899 to 1926 - worked in Stuttgart. Since 1897 he was a member of renown Union " Vienna Sezession".
