This is bright seascape with the surf on the rocky coast of Capri, where long time the author of the painting lived and created his colourful seascapes. Paul von Spaun (1876 - 1932 Munich) - German landscape and ´seascape painter, son-in-law of another german painter Karl-Wilhelm Diefenbach. Spaun´s strong, kolourful coastal landscapes from the area Capri are very popular by the international public.
