Small  but fine cabinet still life with foliants, mandolin and globe was executed around 1900 by Austrin painter Otto Matzek, who was active in Vienna in the late 19th-early 20th Century.

Inscription: signed upper right.

Technique: oil on cardboard, original period frame.

Measuremwnts: unframed  6 1/3" x 5 3/4" (13,8 x 14,7 cm), framed 9 7/8" x 11" (25 x 27,8 cm).

Condition: good.
