Modernist still life in the artist's studio was executed in 1947 by listed Slovakian painter Julian Nemčik ( 1909 Lipnikach-Vagaš - 1986). Studied at the Praque Art Academy (1936-1939) under Loukota, Obrovsky and Hönich. Worked in Kosice, before in Presov. As a member of the Art Society of artists in Bratislava, participating in his exhibitions since 1942. At other exhibitions in 1943 and 1944, 1947. In 1945, when the Association of Artists' Origins was created, he was elected chairman.
