A pair of paintings were executed in late 19th century  by listed Italian painter Giulia Cheli Capella (Italian, 1875 - Florence - 1915) after works of famous old masters: first one is ”Portrait of a young man with a suit of armor and a cap” by Rembrandt van Rijn (original at 1639) and second one is ”Self-portrait” by Anthonis van Dyck (original at 1632).

Inscription: each signed  lower right,  inscriptions on the backsides .

Technique: each oil on wood, laid down on paper. Luxuriousy original frames.

Measurements: each :unframed 6 2/3 " x h 8 2/3 "" (17 x 22 cm); framed w 11 7/8 " x h 14 " ( 30 x 35,3 cm).

Condition: in very good condition.
