Street scene at the Schönhauer Allee S-Bahn station, on the backside are inscriptions of the artist :artist's name with his adress  and title in German: ” Am S-Bahnhof Schönhauer Allee”. 

This city view was executed in 1979 by Saxonian painter Gottlieb Schimmig (born 1924), who was active in Berlin with city views. Our painting is part of 4 Berlin views of the artist (see 2 next and one previous items). Alle this  works came from the family estate of the artist.
