Rocky coast of Island Ischia was executed by Austrian landscape painter Volker Walde ( born 1906 Insbruck). The artist was active in Tirol and undertook travels to Italy.  Studied by Hugo Grimm and W. Redlick.

Inscription: signed lower right; on the back - inscription with the artist's name and original title in German : Abendstimmung auf Ischia.

Technique: oil on cardboard, framed.

Measurements: unframed w 15 3/4" x h 14 1/4" (40 x 36 cm); framed 18 1/4" x 16 3/4"( 46,5 x 42,5 cm).

Condition: very good.
