Art Deco genre painting depicts a coquette with a cigarette. It was executed ca.in 1930s-1940s, signed Cucuel. On the basis of inspection of signature by an Viennese renowned restorer (also under UV light) we came to conclusion, that the signature is from the time of paint. This was reason to attributed this painting  to the late work by famous American artist Edward Cucuel (1875 San Francisco - 1954 Pasadena).

Inscription: signed lower right.

Technique: oil on board. Original period frame.

Measurements: unframed w 19 1/2" x h 23 5/8" (49,5 x 60 cm), framed w 26 5/8"x h 30 3/4" (67,5 x 78 cm).

Condition: very good.
