Very fine portrait miniature on ivory was executed by a French painter ca. in 1840s and depicts young beautiful lady with a rose mounted on her white dress.Inscription: unsigned, on the foot of the bronze frame - the monogram of the frame producer.

Technique: gouache on ivory. Original period wood matt and gilt bronze frame.

Measurements: unframed w 5 1/8" x h 6 1/4" (13 x 16cm); framed w 5 3/4" x h 6 1/2" (13,6 x 16,6 cm).

Condition: in very good condition.
