Masterfully work „Mother happiness“ was executed ca. in 1870s-1880s and due to close similarities was executed to the hand of Austrian religion and genre painter Franz Russ (1844-1906).

Technique: oil on canvas, laid down on cardboard, painted in oval, original period gilt frame.

Measurements: unframed w 31 1/8" x h 32 3/4" (79 x 83 cm); framed w 36 1/4 " x h 37 7/8" (92 x 96 cm).

Condition: professionally restored and cleaned, old relining on cardboard.
