Museum quality with Italian children in window was executed by high listed Austrian landscaspe and genre painter Emanuel Stoeckler (1819 Nikolsburg/Moravia - 1898 Bozen/S.Tyrol). He studied at the Viennese Fine Arts Academy under Jos.Moessmer and Thomas Ender. Since 1839 - on the travels in Italy, Switzerland and together with his teacher Thomas Ender - in Orient; then long time lived in Rome and Paris , from where he travelled and exhiited in Manchester, where he decided to to dedicate himself completely the watercolor painting. Settled in Venice (friendship with Ludwig Passini). In Venice became he acquainted Duchess von Leuchtenberg and the daughter of Russian Tsar Nicolaus I, which pulled him in 1875 at the Russian Tsar Court , where he remained up until death of his patron the Russian empress Maria Alexandrowna (died 1880) . Thereafter he to Aussee /Austria , which remained his constant domicile. Watercolors by Stoeckler situated in the Viennese Albertina Museum, in the collection of the prince Liechtenstein, in the collection Lanckoronski, Vienna.
