Fine French classicist work to the memory of friendship was executed ca. in 1800s and consists of lether case with mounted high quality miniature of a young noble man and on the backside a bag with inserted note week booklet. Upper on the front and back side of case - imprinted gold inscription in French : "Souvenir d`amitie" (in English: " "To remember of friendship").

Inscription: unsigned .

Technique: miniature. gouache on ivory mounted in bronze round frame and attached to the lether case in which is sacas.

Measurements: miniature ,unframed , diameter 1 5/8 " (4 cm); miniature in round mount, diameter 2 " (5 cm), case total dimensions w 2 1/4" x 3 3/8 " ( 5,6 x 8,7 cm ) .

Condition: in good condition
