Museum quality portrait miniature of a nobleman with wig , dressed in white costume and holding in the left hand a cocked hat. The miniature was executed in the last quarter of 18 th century, probably, by a representative of Russian school.

Technique: gouache on ivory. Original period bronze mount and velvet frame.

Measurements: unframed w 2" x h 2 1/2" 1/3" ( 5 x 6,3 cm), framed w 2 3/4" x h 3 3/8" (7 x 8,5 cm)
