"Horses on the river bank" - original work executed in the style of classical modern ca. in 1950s by listed Ukrainian landscape artist Ivan Dmitrovich Logwin (born in Korshevo/Voronez district). The artist studied (until 1949) at the Art School in Penza, pupil of Tschernov and Sisikov. Worked in Ukraine. His famous works: "Evening"(1960); "Near river"(1961); "And once again in Ukraine" (1964); "The folk war began"(1971).

Inscription: on the reverse signed and titled in Russian; old label with biography of the artist..
