|   Wilhelm Richter ( 1824 - Vienna - 1892 ) was a well-known Austrian portrait and genre painter who lived and worked in Vienna in the 19th century. He was a pupil of Thomas Ender and Leopold Kupelwieser at the Vienna Academy. His works are displayed in various museums and private collections.in the 1840-1850-s he travelled to Italy .
