Summer flower composition with the forest on the background was created in 1850-1860-s by renowed french still life and landscape painter Gerges Viard (born 1805). The artist worked in Paris and exhibited his flower still lifes and landscapes from Normandy and Picardie  in Salon de Paris in 1831-1869.
