Salon portrait of a young red-haired girl was created in 1897 by listed Belgian painter Francois Josef Clement Halkett (1856-1921). He was the pupil of J.Lefebvre, G.Boulanger and J.F.Portaels, he exhibited often his genre and portrait works at the German exhibitions and in Paris at the Salon of the Society of French Artist (1883-1888).
