Terracotta tobacco tin with figure of Austrian Emperor Franz Josef as a hunter was created around 1880s by famous sculptor Bernhard Bloch(died 1915).
Bernhard Bloch of Eichwald, the owner of Firma Bernhard Bloch, Eichwald in Bohemia (now the town of Dubi, Czech Republic), was one of the top producers of figural terracottes and ceramics, and his fine work is still prized by collectors today.
Inscription: signed with monogramm B.B. and model number 370 on the back of base.
Technique: terracotta.
