Monumental genre figure with a young beauty, traning leopards, was executed in 1925 by good listed Hungarian sculptor Gyula Maugsch (born in 1882 in Neusohl/Hungary). He studied in Berlin with Vultures and Gaul and has received numerous awards.Works by the artist: "Elephant at the watering place" (1924 , Rath-Prize, Budapest); St.Ladislav(1929, Halmos-Prize, Budapest); , "Pair of lions" (Zoo, Budapest); "Polar bear" (Colleg.Hungaricum, Berlin); World War Monument in Tapolca; Arpad-figure for Mussolini.
