The painting ”On the banks of the Danube in the Wachau” was  executed around 1900  by good-listed Austrian landscape artist Alois Tott (1870 - Vienna -1939). The artist is listed in the "Dictionary of Austrian Painters" by Prof.H.Fuchs, Vienna, 1975.

Inscription: signed  lower left.  

Technique: gouache on paper , matted.

Measurements: image w 9 5/8" x h 5 5/8" (24,5 x 14,3 cm), matted w 13 5/8" x h 10 7/8" (34,5 x 27,8 cm)

Condition: in very good condition
