This is fragment of famous painting ”Der Mensch” ( The Man) by Austrian painter Albin Egger-Lienz (1868-1926).

it was executed in 1940s by Austrian sculptor, painter and graphic artist Paul Leopold Kassecker (1903 Villach/Carinthia 1992 Aflenz Kurort/Styria).

Inscription: signed lower right, the back of cardboard closed  with a cardboard cover, was not opened.

Technique: pastel on the thin cardboard, matted and framed.

Measurements: unframed w 15" x h 18 1/2" ( 33 x 47 cm), total 16 7/8" x 24 3/4" (43 x 63 cm).

Condition: good.
