Nice genre scene with original french title "La Charite" ( in english: charity) was executed ca. in 1850s by good listed French figure, miniature and genre watercolour painter Heloise Susanne Colin, in marrige Leloir (1820 - Paris - 1873). She was daughter of historical painter Alexandre-Marie Colin and mother of painter-illustrator Maurice Leloir. Heloise Colin married painter Jean-Auguste Leloir in 1842.
