Original watercolour (grisaille) as design to Vienna New Year postcard, dated 1901, was executed by good listed Austrian historical painter and illustrator Eduard Luttich von Luttichheim (1844 Praque -1920 Vienna). Pupil of Josepf von Führich, he travelled toSwitzerland and South Germany . In 1876 the artist punblished a seria of etchings "Deutsche Minnesänger". His paintings " Last Ride of Kaiser Rudolf" and "Battle by Göllheim" were purchased by kaiser Franz Josef I.
