View of a French riverside town ( probably Rouen) was executed in the manner, very close to the similar cityscapes by Frwnch painter Charles Euphrasie Kuwasseg ( 1830-1904). It is signed by the artist , unfortunately, indistinctly.

Inscription: signed indistinctly, lower left.

Technique: oil on mahagony wood panel, original period gilt frame.

Measurements:  unframed w 8 1/2" x h 10 5/8" ( 21,5 x 27 cm ), framed 15" x 17 1/8"(38 x 43,5 cm).

Condition: very good.
