Hagenbach is a scattered settlement in the market town of Mautern in Upper Styria, in the province of Leoben.
An alpine landscape with a mountain brook , due to the original inscription: ” At Hagenbach near Mautern, Styia”, was created in 1895 by good-listed Austrian landscape painter Georg Geyer (1823 - Vienna - 1912). He was a pupil of Vienna Academy under Josef Moessmer, Franz Steinfeld and Thomas Ender. He frequently exhibited at the Exhibitions of the Academy and was adored for his perfect mountainous landscapes painted in the Austrian Alps.
