Street scene in the Rathauspassage in Berlin-Mitte, on the backside are inscriptions of the artist :”Rathauspassage” and artist name with Adresse in the Schönhauer Allee No. 41.

This city view was executed in 1982 by Saxonian painter Gottlieb Schimmig (born 1924), who was active in Berlin with city views. Our painting is part of 4 Berlin views of the artist (see next items), Alle this  works came from the family estate of the artist.
