Seascape with lighthouse was executed around 1830-1840 by an Austrian romantic painter. On the lighthouse can be see Austrian flag. This painting was executed in the very close manner to works of Austrian seascape painter Josef Carl  Berthiold Püttner (1821 - 1881).

Inscription: on the lower edge is artist's gift inscription in German: ” ... seinem Freunde B.Hirsch”.

Technique: oil on board, original period gilt frame.

Measurements : unframed w 13 1/2" x h 9 7/8"(34,5 x 25 cm), framed 18 1/4" x 15"(46,5 x 38 cm).

Condition: very good.
