Hunting trip of high society was executed by French painter, draughtsman and printmaker Bernard Édouard Swebach (1800-1870), son of J.F.J. Swebach-Desfontaines. In 1818-1820 worked in Russia, created battle, hunting and genre scenes. His Napoleonic work "Retreat from Russia" is in the Louvre, in Russian museums are several works: in Russian State Museum a few genre scenes; in the Pushkin State Museum - his work „Partisans of 1812"
