"Society on plenair" - this painting was influenced by French Impressionists (Edouard Manet) and was executed in 1920s by good listed Swiss-German landscape, nude and portrait painter Karl Schlageter (1894 Luzern - 1990 Zurich ). Pupil of Art Academy in Munich , the artist worked in Switzerland and Germany (Werdau) , his works represented in follower european museums : Bern, Biel, Geisenkirchen, city museum and University gallery of Göttingen, museum in Luzern, State and City galleries in Munich, New Museum in Nürnberg, museum in Recklinhausen. Provenance : German private collection in Munich.
