A pair of forest landscapes by renown Austrian landscape painter Eduard Boehm (born 1830 in Vienna). Eduard Boehm (Böhm) was a youngest son of engraver Johann Böhm. He was a pupil of his brother Johann, and was known as a fine landscape , especial forest, painter , working in a typical Austrian Biedermeier Style.

Inscription: signed : first one - lower right, on the reverse - original label with the title in German "Partie aus Nieder Österreich" ; second one - lower left, on the reverse - original label with the title in german "partie aus Tirol".
Technique: both oils on canvases. Original period partly gold-plated frames.
Measurements: both of same dimensions : unframed w 18 " x h 22 1/4" (46 x 56,5 cm), framed w 27 1/3" x h 31 3/4" (69,5 x 81 cm)
