Portrait of a noble child (on the reverse of frame- old inscription with original title in German: "Dr. Josef Görner as child") was executed by listed Viennese portrait painter Carl Gutsch, who was active in 1840-1860s . His portrait of Austrian imperor Franz Joseph I , executed 1849, was exhibited in the memorial exhibition "Our Imperor" (Unser Kaiser) in 1908.
