Rare ukrainian peasant scene created in 1858 by russian historian, genre and portrait painter Vitali (Wassilij) Grigorjewitch Petrov (1828 -1867).In 1850 he recieved academical title "Painter of portrait and historical art" for drawing "Head of boy.."
