Large marine painting with returning boats before the coast mooring created by well-renown austrian marine painter Josef Carl Berthold Puettner(1821 - 1881), who a long time worked in Holland and numerous his marine works depicting dutch harbour scenes. in 1846/1847 he lived in Rome , travelled to Holland, Island. In 1852-1853 - North and South America.After 1869 he settled in Bad Vööslau by Vienna. Most important works by Puettner are in Museums: Rudolfinum in Praque, Salzburg , castle Weikersdorf and under important european and american collections.
