Austrian landscape painter Adolf Obermuellner was born in Wels (Austria) in 1833. He studied at the Vienna Academy under Franz Steinfeld and continued his studies in Muenchen under R.Zimmermann, in Paris and Holland. The artist was active in Vienna. Works by him belong to collections of various Austrian museums.
