Masterful portrait of a Greek Orthodox created by renowned Austrian artist Ernst Lafite ( 1826 - 1885). The brother of Carl Lafite , another Austrian painter, Ernst Lafite studied at the Vienna Art Academy by Franz Schrotzberg. He worked in Vienna and exhibited his portrait works on the different Austrian exhibitions.
