Portrait of a young girl with favorite toy was executed in the late 19th century by renowned French painter Louise Adolphe Tessier.
Born in Antwerp in 1858, Louis Adolphe Tessier was French genre scenes painter.
He studied at the Beaux-Arts in Paris and continued his training in the studio of Jean-Léon Gérôme. He exhibited at the Salon of French Artists in Paris, of which he became a member in 1905, obtaining an honorable mention in 1886, a third class medal in 1909.
