Animalistic painting with two roebucks at the lake was executed in 1906 by listed Munch wildlife and hunting painter
Moritz Müller the Younger (1868 iMunich - 1934 Lausa).
He was a son of the painter Moritz Müller the Elder and a grandson of Moritz Müller (Feuermüller).
Müller exhibited his works in Munich, Magdeburg, Frankfurt and Berlin, among other places.
