This fine portrait miniature of a young lady was executed by French portrait painter and miniaturist Jean-Pierre Drouin 1782 Besançon - 1861 ibid). Student: EcBA Paris with Claude Dejoux. High-quality miniature portraits, stylistically based on the students of Louis-François Aubry; D. uses a characteristic pink-yellowish tone with ochre shadows and light blue nuances for the faces. Also portraits in oil and watercolor.
