This is antique painting with view of Entrance to the Grand Canal, Venice, looking towards the Dogana, the Giudecca and the Redentore beyong . It was execused by a follower of world-renowned Italian  painter Francesco Guardi (Venice 1713-1793). In our opinion, the painting was painted in the early 19th century.

Inscription: unsigned.

Technique: oil on canvas, classicism gilt frame.

Measurements: unframed w 24 1/3" x h 15 1/2" (62 x 39,5 cm), framed 30 1/4" x 21 1/8" (77x53,5 cm).

Condition: good, original canvas was long ago relined.
