Landscape with a alpine village in the front of the mount group Schneewinkelhorn in Austrian Carinthia. This watercolour was executed in 1948 by famous Austrian painter and restorer Hans Wulz (1909 in Landeck in Tyrol - 1985 in Vienna).

The Schneewinkelspitze ( Schneewinkelhorn) is a 3016 m high mountain in the Ankogel group in Carinthia. It is located east of the municipality of Mallnitz. Northeast of the Schneewinkelspitze lies the Hochalmspitze, to the west of it the Säuleck.
Incription: dated 1948 and signed, lower right; titled in German lower left: Alpmatten mit Schneewinkelhorn.
Technique: watercolour on paper, passpartout and frame.
Measurements: unframed w 8 3/4" x h 11 3/4" (22 x 30 cm); in passpartout and framed 16 3/42 x 20 7/8"(42,5 x 53 cm).
