View  of famous mount Rifferl in Zillertal/Tyrol was executed on the turn of 20th century by an Austrian Monogrammist in the style and from the circle of Edward Theodore Compton (1849-1921).

Inscription: signed with monogram , lower right; on the back of cardboard titled in German:  .... Hütte 2450 m am Riffler,  Tirol” ( in English: Chalet 2450 m. Riffler, Tyrol).

Technique: watercolour on cardboard, framed.

Measurements: unframed w 17 3/4" x h 12 5/8"(45 x 32 cm), framed 24" x 19 3/4"(61 x 50 cm).

Condition: very good.
