Painting with chicken in shady forest was executed by Hungarian painter Miklos Jobbagyi Gaiger (1892 - 1959 Budapest). 1911-1916 he was a student of Károly Ferenczy at the Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest. 1918-1933was featured in four works in the Enst Nuseum collection at an exhibition. 128-1931 lived intermittently in Paris. He painted naturalistic, stark nude compositions. His works were characterized by the calm rhythm of the composition and closed, massive forms. His artistic street pictures were mainly taken in Paris. In 1939, he had an independent exhibition. After 1945, he worked a lot in the creative house in Zzennye, mainly painting sunny landscapes. In 1963, the MNG organized a memorial exhibition of his works. Several of his works ca be found in public collections.
