Nightly scene in a Italian Harbour was executed in the first part of 19th century, signed Caffi  and have similarities in manner, composition and  time of creation with works  of famous Italian painter of architectural subjects and seascapes or urban views Ippolito Caffi (1809 Belluno - 1866 Lissa). Despite the fact that the originality of signature was inspected by an ultraviolet lamp, because we are not experts for this Italian painter , we sell it as attributed to him.
