Bidermeier alpine landscape (everywhere in Carinthia or Styria) with peasants and river  was executed by an Austrian  painter , signed Allesch and dated 1857. For other 2 landscapes by the same artist see item No. 6660 and 6648. 

All three works are origin from the same private estate in Carinthia.+

Inscriptions: signed in the middle on the under edge (part under frame), 

Technique: oil on canvas, original period frame.

Measurements: unframed w 20" x h 15 1/3" ( 51 x 39 cm ) , framed  24 1/4" x 19 1/4" ( 61,5 x 49 cm ).

Condition: good, old professionally reclining of canvas.
