Masterfully study of exotic plant Medinilla Magnifica was executed in the middle of 19th century and was attributed to Austrian flower and still life painter Johann Strohmayer, who worked in Vienna in 1840-1870s. From 1869 to 1871 he exhibited his fruit and flower still life at the exhibitions of Austrian Artist Union.
